She was named as the winner of a Golden Baobab prize for her story 'Talulah the time traveller'.

Mary Ononokpono began writing her most recent novel when her daughter started having tantrums. 'Tallulah the Time Traveller' is a sweet, modern tale - and it's just won a Golden Baobab Prize. Mary joined Vanessa Cuddeford on This Day Live to discuss her success - all the more remarkable because the novel hasn't even been published.
